This past Thursday afternoon I met with Kathleen & Mark in Toronto to take their engagement photos. It was a great change of scenery for me to shoot in the city… there are so many options for unique photo backdrops. We spent some time at Union Station, the Distillery District, and various spots in between. I probably could have spent the whole day there walking around with these two, but decided that it might be smart to make my way out of the city before the rush hour traffic got too crazy!
Kathleen & Mark have the cutest history… they met for the first time when they were only 4 years old while attending the same elementary school and although they didn’t start dating until much later, they’ve always known each other’s family and friends which is so amazing. This is going to be such a great wedding to shoot as the various groups of guests are pretty much all going to have connections to each other outside of just knowing Kathleen and Mark. I’m so excited about it… bring on July 2014!!
Thanks so much Kathleen and Mark for bringing me to Toronto and for being so helpful leading up to the session and on the day of. I had a great time with you both and love the shots we managed to capture.
