Angie & Marshall were married on this absolutely perfect day about a week ago now in Hamilton at the Sheraton Hamilton Hotel. It’s funny because when I first started discussing wedding photography with Angie and Marshall they hadn’t quite chose their venue for the big day yet. They were looking for something somewhat local and possibly even considering an outdoor wedding. Yet, it only took one look and meeting with the Sheraton in Hamilton and they were convinced that this was the perfect place for them to celebrate their day. Now that the day has come and gone, I have to agree that the team at the Sheraton was amazing and the wedding was perfect in every way. Angie and Marshall were even given the President’s Suite which was simply jaw-dropping upon entering… although I heard that later in the evening there may have been a few surprises to the room that they were expecting to come back to so peaceful and perfect :)!
I’ve really loved working with Angie and Marshall. Truth be told, I’ve known Angie and her family pretty much my whole life as we grew up around the corner from each other. It was so great to reconnect with the family again and see some of my favorite people at the wedding as well. I just loved that Angie and Marshall chose to do a “First Look” taking the majority of the photos before the ceremony in order to help the day run smoothly and create the least amount of wait time for their guests. Their first look took place at McMaster University and the weather was beautiful. We took an array of photos throughout the grounds and then quickly made our way back to the Sheraton to enjoy the rest of the evening. In every wedding day there tends to be a few hiccups, but I can honestly say that Angie and Marshall’s day seemed to flow by flawlessly.
I want to shout out a huge thank you to both of you Ange and Marshall (and Isabella too) for making this day such a gift for us! We had so much fun with you and I am so honoured to have been able to capture your perfect wedding day. I wish you guys all the happiness you can possibly handle for the years ahead and look forward to seeing all the joys that the future holds for you!
